7.7 kW DC, 6.5 kW AC Residential solar system
We specified 40 Conergy AG S 175MU PV modules, an SMA 7000 inverter and Fat Spaniel monitoring. We chose a southwest orientation to maximize solar production and its value according to the E-7 PG&E rate schedule. Mounted on a composition roof, we used Sure Seal flashing to insure it is water-tight for the life of the roof. For optimal performance, the modules have adequate ventilation and are arrayed to prevent shading from an existing stovepipe.
